Join us for a CEO Roundtable on Thursday, July 13th from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.  Our expert panelists will touch on what is key in their business world, key strengths, and recent challenges they face as the business world evolves every day.

The topic discussions and panelists include:

• Matt Byrne:  Matt will provide his expertise in the health care industry.  Come prepared to ask your questions on proposed changes to the health care industry, and what this might mean to you and your team?
• Janis Mitchell:  Janis is an expert on hiring the right team for your companies success.  Janis is very successful building powerful advisory boards for to help move your company forward.
• Tony Trippe:  Tony will advise on how to protect your intellectual property, and also share his recent growth issues within his company.
• David Cain:  David will focus on developing strategies and provide suggestions/ideas for business owners.

He is the founder of Spiralight Group Benefits, a Dublin Ohio-based brokerage providing comprehensive insurance, HR consulting and compliance solutions for small-to midsize businesses

Janis Mitchell:  President/CEO, Precise Resources, Inc.  Mitchell’s success is the result of one simple mantra, “Listen to your clients.” It has become one of the most important aspects in her career. By simply listening, it only takes a few minutes to understand clients’ past experiences, their current needs and what they are looking for in a new partnership.

Tony Trippe:  Adjunct Professor of Intellectual Property Management and Markets.  Tony acts as subject matter
expert and professor for the online version of IPMM 508-Patent Tools and Analytics, Master of IP Management & Markets Program.

David Cain:  David has been with Rea & Associates for 38 years serving several roles for their firm across the state of Ohio.  He currently serves as mentor/consultant for businesses that range from start-ups to 20 million in sales and his speciality is in tax strategies and business planning.

Jerome Jones:  Jerome will moderate the panelist format.  He is a business consultant, and Vice President of Lending and Business Services at Ohio Small Business Development Centers at Columbus State Community College.

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) of Union County is celebrating the success of more than a dozen young entrepreneurs following their graduation from the 30-week YEA! program that teaches middle and high school students how to start and run a business. Lilly Byrne, a 12-year old Hilliard resident, who recently graduated at the top of our Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) of Union County class with Love to Go to Lilly’s healthy vending, will be present at the DEC during our Jelly Lunch. Lilly will share her business pitch that she went on to place among the top eight YEA! students in the country with out of a field of more than 1,500, and was selected to compete in the Saunders Scholars Competition.
