DEC Inner Circle : Inspirational Lunches w/ Successful Entrepreneurs (Tenant ONLY Event)

Join us for an in-depth discussion with Jon Waters, Director of Bands – Heidelberg University, and former Director of the OSU Marching Band.   Jon will share his thoughts on “innovation” and creating “relevancy” in a field that’s been around for over 100 years.   Jon has made and an “old art new again” by using a combination of networking and collaboration, and “building tradition through innovation.”  Jon’s experience (and perseverance) of working within and ultimately fighting a multi-billion dollar corporation will provide tremendous insight to our business-owner community.

Matt Adams, Dot The i Creative / DEC Tenant, will be moderating this discussion.  Matt and Jon first met on the pavement practice lot on the ROTC campus of Ohio State in 1995.  Since their friendship began as sousaphone players in the OSU Marching band, Jon and Matt have collaborated on dozens of projects that helped to elevate the OSU Marching Band brand.  Even today, Matt and Jon work together to help realize Jon’s vision for creating from scratch, a marching band program where none existed before at Heidelberg University.  If you have any specific questions you would like asked, please email to Matt Adams beforehand at Matt@dticreative.com
