Join us as a panel of hiring experts share their insights about how to plug into the startup ecosystem. Panelists will outline why you should consider working for a startup, and what startups are looking for in prospective employees. You’ll also learn how to identify opportunities that align with your skills, or how to hone your skills to be competitive. For those considering a transition from the corporate world, the panel will discuss how startup culture differs from the corporate world.

Panelist include: Sue Johnson & Rachel Roman

Sue Johnson is the President and Founder of 360 Talent Group, a private search firm dedicated to working with technology-based firms in Columbus, OH. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communications and more than 20 years’ experience focused exclusively in IT recruiting and executive level sales in the central Ohio market. Over her tenure, she has gained considerable exposure in working with private sector consulting, Fortune 100 firms and tech start-ups. Susan has participated in numerous training initiatives across the country with an emphasis on social media recruitment strategies and creating culture based recruiting programs. Additionally, she was selected to participate in one of the country’s top leadership and management programs for the Walt Disney World Company.

Rachel Roman is the Director of Talent, HR, and Culture at Updox.Updox is a Dublin, Ohio based software company and the industry-leading healthcare care coordination solution. Rachel has been an HR professional for 6 years and has worked in the Finance, SaaS Software, Telephony, and Healthcare IT industries in various HR roles. She specializes in growing talent for both private and public companies in hyper-growth phases by: bringing in top technical and executive talent, retaining top talent, identifying high potential performers, curating effective performance management philosophies, and ensuring the company culture remains strong and scalable.
