An Agile, Easy Approach to Mentoring
Learn how organizations are using Mentoring to enable everything from the transfer of technical skills to the effective transition into an executive role. We’ll discuss tools and techniques used by organizations such as Abbott Laboratories, Nationwide Insurance and Columbia Gas.
Mentoring has long been a highly valued mode of development for human capital within organizations. Many organizations use mentors to help their associates learn about and plot effective, rewarding career paths. But Mentoring can do more than that! As learning trends move toward a more personalized focus Mentoring provides learning that is unique to everyone involved.
We will explore:
- Best Practices for using Mentoring effectively i.e. Goals, Roles and Deadlines
- Mentoring Materials i.e. Relationship contract, Mentoring log and Self-service guides
- The use of an assessment to help match mentors and mentees
