Concussion management startup SportsBrain establishing Dublin HQ, plans 21 jobs over four years

A startup that offers concussion testing and treatment for the military and athletic organizations plans to add 21 jobs in Dublin over the next four years – and potentially more growth in Central Ohio if its parent company establishes planned related businesses here.
“It’s a resource-rich market,” said Kristine Gross, CEO of SportsBrain and president of its parent, Cognitive Ventures LLC. She listed the many perfect fits for a concussion management business: Hospital systems with prominent neuroscience programs, sporting organizations and a military base just up the road in Dayton. Plus, lawmakers can steer medical policy for school teams and the area is rich with colleges from which to hire.
