Lt. Col. (Ret) Kathy Lowrey Gallowitz
Kathy Lowrey Gallowitz is career Air Force Veteran who served as a Public Affairs Officer and Nurse. It was her life’s calling to design and lead a never-been-done before outreach office for the Ohio National Guard to educate and engage civilians in support of troops and their families. While not serving in uniform, Gallowitz established and managed Buckeye Sports and Orthopedic Specialists. She was the President of the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce and on the founding board of the Pickerington Violet Festival. Masters degrees in Nursing and Political Science frame her practice and perspectives. Through her for-profit social enterprise, Vanguard Veteran, she is leading the “Veteran Champion” movement to connect civilians with Veterans and their families in mutually-beneficial ways. She trains emerging civilian leaders and transitioning Veterans how to develop their leadership skills, initiates projects to narrow the military-civilian divide and broaden support to Veterans.

Paula is a former member of the Franklin County, Ohio Board of Commissioners, as served three (3) United States Presidential administrations, and is now the Director: Investment Committee Chair, Executive & Nominating Committee Member of the Ohio Bar Liability Insurance Company.
Melissa Mirenda, holds a B.F.A. from The Ohio State University in graphic arts and advertising and founded Executive Search Associates in March of 2002. With over 30 years of business experience in advertising, sales, marketing consulting, training, and recruiting. Melissa also has five years of career coaching experience, helping hundreds with job transitions. Additionally, she has sixteen years of experience in owning and operating a search firm.
