DEC Expansion Attracts Modeling, Analytics, Prototyping and Simulation Companies

Nearly as soon as the decision was made to expand the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center to the first floor of 565 Metro Place South, just about all the space had been spoken for.

The expansion was unveiled at the DEC’s sixth anniversary open house this spring. Now, in addition to more than 23,000 square feet on the third floor of the building and a 1,200-square-foot training center on the first floor, the DEC encompasses an additional 5,400 square feet on the first floor, including 16 offices and additional training space.

Filling the space on the first floor are businesses centered on modeling, analytics, prototyping and simulation (MAPS). This new MAPS cluster complements other industry-focused concentrations in the DEC, which encompass green, technology and international businesses.

The first floor MAPS tenants are:

IKOVE Capital – Derived from the Tupi-Guarani indigenous language of South America, the word “ikove” means growth.
