UFIT Opens Unique Gym and Training Center in Dublin
Dublin, Ohio – April 23, 2018 – Peggy Mills, a 30-year fitness educator and Certified Personal Trainer, and her husband Tim Mills today announced the launch of UFIT, a unique gym and training center designed to meet the needs of those with special physical, neurological and developmental challenges.
Located in Dublin, UFIT (Unique Fitness & Independence Training) is the first gym of its kind in Ohio dedicated to meet the fitness needs of unique individuals.
“We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be fit for life,” said Peggy Mills. “We don’t just accommodate those with special needs, we cater to them. From our proprietary Visual Training System, to the equipment and machines we use, to our branding, everything has been designed with these individuals in mind.”
Recently hosted by Dublin City Council, and featured in a special NBC4 program called The Autism Puzzle, Peggy Mills attributes her unwavering commitment to a passion for her “peeps.”
“I love my peeps,” Mills says of her clients. “They keep me going. They’re inspiring.”
UFIT uses a special three-part training program that embraces customization, empowerment and visual training. The Mills’ hope that this approach will benefit many, and that this will be the first of many UFIT gyms across Ohio.
“Research shows that people with neurological and physical challenges have a higher risk for significant health issues,” said Tim Mills. “In addition to experiencing better health, strong, fit people have better self-esteem and greater independence. We help our clients experience these benefits, and create lasting fitness habits.”
